“Socially Responsible and Innovative Philippine Education”, this was the theme heralded by the Emilio Aguinaldo College School of Nursing and Midwifery Manila and Cavite Campuses in the recently concluded Ring and Pin Ceremony last April 19, 2010 held at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex. The event began with an invocation and thanksgiving for the accomplishments of EAC students in their four years of stay in the college. This was followed by a message from Dr. Mary Jane Olid, Dean of the School of Nursing and Midwifery Manila, on which she noted, “We give our parents the great honor for trusting EAC for your education, as you journey, go and trust God. You will leave EAC and continue life’s purpose, continue to have a clear mind and heart and God will guide you to the right path.”
Dr. Jose Paulo E. Campos delivered the message where he stated, “Your years of formation at the School of Nursing and Midwifery of the Emilio Aguinaldo College manifest collaborative efforts on our part, a continued commitment to your value laden and holistic formation and, on your part, the willingness to traverse a path towards a better future. As you have proven during your years of academic preparations, what brought you here today are your hard work and dedication to be men and women for others lived through a life of virtue, excellence and service.”
In summary, EAC Cavite Campus recognized 266 Nursing Clinical Graduates while EAC Manila Campus recognized 439 Nursing Clinical Graduates with bearing 2140 hours of learning as required for clinical graduation, the event ended with the Florence Nightingale Pledge. Aside from Dr. Campos, other top EAC administrators who attended the said event were Dr. Valentino Baac- Director Office of the Presidential Management Staff, Atty. Joseph Noel Estrada- Head Administration, Estefaio Boquiron Jr.-Dean Student Affairs , Mr. Marlon Carlos Registrar and Dean Arnel G. Pantoja School of Nursing and Midwifery-Cavite Campus.
