The Emilio Aguinaldo College Manila has once again proven its excellence in the Philippine medical field as it produced again topnotchers, with an alumnus taking the number one spot in the June 2010 Radiologic Technology Licensure Examination, and with two others making it to the fifth and tenth places of the June 2010 Dental Licensure Examination, as announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
In the testimonial dinner dedicated to the latest Emilian achievers at the Pearl Manila Hotel last June 25, 2010, the administration proudly recognized the outstanding Licensure examination achievement of Mark Jayson Placido Gutierrez, a Rad-Tech graduate who placed number one in the licensure exam with a mark of 91.4 percent.
Acknowledged together with him were Doctors Miguel Atom Gordoncillo Kobayashi, top five of the Dental Licensure Exam with a score of 83.61 percent, and Rogelio Mangune Verdejo Jr, top ten with an 82.6 percent mark.
Mr. Guitierrez graduated as Cum Laude of the School of Radiologic Technology. On his testimonial speech, he talked about how he thought of becoming a pastor and how he managed to turn to his faith, away from the bad influences of his high school friends, and into dreaming of being on the top-notch. The School rejoices with him as twenty other graduates passed the licensure examination.
Meanwhile, Dr. Kobayashi and Dr. Verdejo appraised EAC as a high-end College that has professors who continually give full effort in producing competitive and well-learned graduates.
Together with them were successful Dental board passers Dr. Margriette Beverly M. Padlan, Dr. Rey Raymond Del Rosario, Dr. Napoleon Soriano, and Dr. Annie Rose Navarro.
Acknowledging his fellow passers, “we’ve done it better than we thought we could”, Dr. Verdejo said on his speech.
Dr. Paulo E. Campos, EAC President, handed the recognitions and congratulated the achievers as they have all brought honor to the Emilio Aguinaldo College. He continued to challenge them by saying that they should not stop striving for more success and excellence. The President quoted, “Your full potential keeps on moving. It is limitless. Keep pushing it further and further. You have not gone yet to heaven, life goes on and there will still be challenges. From now on, there is no more curriculum; you must make your own balancing how much of yourself will risk and how much will you hold back and be patient. You should always get back when you stumble. Success is not always about getting it right, it is always about getting up when you fall and when you fall that is part of the learning process.”
Among the recipients of recognition on the same night were Dean Eleana Regina F. Cruz, recognized as 2010 Most Outstanding Pharmacist; Egbert Rodriguez, EAC alumnus recognized for his contribution to the EAC Generals; and the successful engineering and education board exam takers from EAC-Cavite.
