OBJECTIVES   

Upon completion of the respective curricula, we will produce an Emilian Nurse who:

  • Demonstrates basic clinical competencies in the care of their clients that are scientifically, legally and ethically grounded;
  • Demonstrates initiative, independence and self-confidence as a health care practitioner;
  • Collaborates and cooperates with the other members of the health team who are involved in the care of a specific client;
  • Take full personal responsibility for their professional growth by continually acquiring new knowledge and keeping abreast of issues, trends and innovations that are relevant to the practice;
  • Participates willingly in conducting scientific research and utilization of acceptable research findings;
  • Achieves a high passing rate in the Nurse Licensure Examination in accordance with the standards of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC);
  • Conscientiously render a quality and safe care towards their clients;
  • Contributes and excel in the global community.

SCHOOL OF MIDWIFERY  

OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of their respective curricula, the graduates will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate basic clinical competencies in the care of their clients that are scientifically, legally and ethically grounded.
  2. Demonstrate initiative, independence and self-confidence as a health care practitioner.
  3. Collaborate and cooperate with the other members of the health care team who are involved in the care of specific clients.
  4. Take full personal responsibility for their professional growth by continually acquiring new knowledge and keeping abreast of issues, trends and innovations that are relevant to their practice.
  5. Willingly participate in the conduct of research and utilization of acceptable research findings.
  6. Provide leadership to other personnel who are not professional midwives.
